Milling Copper Casting

Notes:
This copper casting has a mating part that needs to be attached while allowing the milled threads inside to lineup for a perfect threading onto a third shaft component. The internal thread is 8 inches in diameter, and each casting weighs about 50 pounds.

Standard milling procedures won't work here, so milling techniques from years of experience allows us to handle complex jobs such as this. Previous vendors were pricing this part to a point where engineers were asked to come up with a lower cost design, but with our milling expertise, we were able to quote this part to a price our customer hadn't seen in a long time, thus saving many dollars on redesign and tooling, not to mention piece price.
